Imports and Company Records

Importing contacts is a vital part of starting and maintaining a 21st century business. Not just to add new leads from a seminar or an attendee list from your latest webinar, imports are also a vital part of controlling how your information is stored and searched for. If not completed correctly imports can cause some major errors, add Companies into the mix and things can get even messier.

Importing a list of contacts with companies can carry some unforeseen risks, namely duplicate company records. Since there is no way to merge duplicate companies, the best way to fix this problem is to make sure it doesn’t happen. In this week’s video, I show you how to properly import Contacts and Companies into Infusionsoft.

Creating A Looping Campaign

In business, communication is key, specifically, consistent communication. Making sure that you can maintain contact with your list about consistent events can be a chore. Say you have a weekly webinar, chances are you don’t want to manually email your leads every week to let them know. You would ideally like a process that can let them know on a set schedule when you are having your webinar. That is where a looping campaign would be of use.

A looping campaign is a simple process that will consistently email your contacts on a set schedule until you want it to stop or until you have it scheduled to stop.

While simple, this campaign can carry some risk if not set up correctly. That is why I have made this video to show you how to safely set this up and run it with ease.

Breaking Down Opportunities Pt 1

A sales team can be difficult to keep track of. Every customer is different and the same can be said of the approach that your sales rep needs to take. This can lead to very confusing reports and a startling lack of data.

Opportunities can change that. With them you can set your stages ahead of time, but it is not a straight line, the system leaves room for improvisation. If a lead is ready to buy after the first or second call, you can skip the remaining steps and go straight to a quote. Yet, you may also have a lead that needs more time to think or do the math, you can move them backwards in the process or add them to a waiting stage. Along with the ability to customize the sales process you can also get detailed reporting or each of these stages and who is moving between them.

On this weeks video I will cover; how to navigate the opportunity record, how to build your sales pipeline, and how to use campaigns to automate responses.
